"Mom, today I believed in me too!” - winner greater Sioux Falls 2016 Block Kids Program
The Southeast Minnesota Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Block Kids Event is being held on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Bear Cave Intermediate in Stewartville, MN.
Program Guidelines Kids are given 40 minutes to use 100 interlocking blocks, a piece of string, aluminum foil, and construction paper to build a project that is in some way related to the construction industry. Projects scored on oral presentation, enthusiasm, creativity, use of materials, attention to detail and reason for participation.

One semi-finalist from each region is entered in the National Program competitions
National prizes are awarded to the top three projects
A note to sponsors: We appreciate any donations in the form of cash or check, and items for goodie bags. We are also looking for sponsors to help supply t-shirts and goodie bags for the students as well as volunteers to help judge the event. We are very excited about hosting this event again this year!
